**Please remember during the playoffs you may not participate on any other team, participate in ANY showcase

            or baseball event outside of the American Legion playoffs per American Legion rules. Please plan accordingly and  

            do not make any plans between July 21 and August 17^th.

If any player is interested in assistance with college placement, showcases, fundraising,

and/or summer employment please contact Coach Simon.

Please remember we are encouraging players to find employment M-F during

the day in order to commit to our schedule.

The upcoming 2010 schedule is made up of league games, three tournaments,

and nonleague games tentatively comprised of games against teams from CT, ME, NY, IL, MI, OH and IN.

We play a tight competitive schedule in order to get all players ample playing time,

play top notch competition, and get players multiple opportunities to expose themselves to college coaches.

In order for this to happen, all players must fully commit to our schedule and

play ONLY for Gershkoff Auto Body Auburn Post 20 Senior American Legion baseball until we are eliminated from the playoffs.

Attention Players: Please fill out the American Legion Baseball Player Profile Sheet and

email it to coachschiappa@aol.com by June 1^st.

Your profile sheet will be put on this site with full roster information

as well as the American Legion database - new this year.

The site along with our roster and schedule will be sent to multiple colleges and scouts.

Past American Legion Baseball Trips include: World Wide of Sports Disney Orlando, Florida; Hampton Beach, New Hampshire; Gopher Glassic in Minneapolis, Minnesota; Mountain State Classic West Virginia; Leo Brunner Annual Tournament Moline, Illinois visiting Field of Dreams in Iowa and the Chicago Whitesox game; Cooper's Cave Classic in Glen Falls, New York visiting Lake George/Saratoga area and Oneota Blue Wave Classic in Oneonta New York as well as visiting and playing at Doubleday Field in Cooperstown, New York.

We will be leaving July 6th at 6AM

We will be staying at the Comfort Inn 419-784-4900

in Defiance, Ohio July 6, 7th.

Rate is $73.79 plus tax a night.

If any parents plan to attend please make your reservations directly with the hotel.

Tentatively July 7th  NOON vs. Napoleon, Ohio and Fort Wayne Cubs  (2 9 inning games)
Games will take place at Parkview Field Fort Wayne, Indiana.

July 8-12 we will staying at the Carlton Lodge.

Rate is $91.00 dollars a night plus tax.
Again if any parents plan on attending please contacting the hotel directly.

July 9th we will be attending the Minnesota vs. Detroit MLB game.

The Moline, Illinois American Legion Baseball Team which we played in Illinois three years ago

will travel to RI this summer to play us in the South County Tournament in South Kingstown and Narragansett.
